The Power Of Vision (part 2)

God has a grand plan for His Church, but much more fascinating is the fact that He has a plan for each member of His body.   You are not created to roam about in life purposelessly.  You are designed for a specific purpose. But your placement in the grand master plan of God is located by vision.

Vision is the foundation of life!

 

1.     WHAT IS THE IMPACT OF VISION?

 

A. VISION IS THE KEY TO WISDOM 

Without wisdom, vision cannot stand. Vision cannot be fulfilled without wisdom.

            i.         Wisdom travels in the direction of vision

a) Vision is a wisdom magnet

b) The lack of Vision is the absence of the application of wisdom 

c) When God gives you a vision, He also equips you with the wisdom to fulfill the vision – see Exodus 31:3

   

            ii.         Where there is no vision, there is an obligation to mental paralysis – see 1                                                                                                 Chronicles 1:7-10   

a) It is not possible for your mind to work until your eyes are open to vision

b) When your vision is working, your mind is also working; you begin to identify things to do and how to get them done in order to get to where you are going

B. VISION IS THE KEY TO POSSESSIONS  

i. What man sees determines what God gives – see Genesis 13: 14-15

a) God promised Abraham to give him the land not on the bases of passion but vision, not on the bases of desire but sight     

b) Seeing with the mind's eye is the bedrock of barrier-breaking faith  – see  Mark 9:25  

         

          ii. What does not occur in you cannot occur outside of you 

         

 

 

 

C. VISION IS THE KEY TO IMPACT 

   I. When God reveals His plan, God commits to it. Vision makes you unbeatable 

 

God Commits Himself to You 3 Ways

1.   God goes before us – see Exo 23:20, Isa 45:2-3

  • To clear every obstacle for you  

 

 2. He works within us

  • Through divine vision, we walk in Blood Covenant Partnership with Almighty God – see Mark 16:20, John 14:10, Acts 10:38

 

3. He works through us

  • When God works through us, it means we enjoy the backing of heaven 

  • We prevail where others travail 

  • We accomplish the impossible with ease 

  •  We accomplish the unimaginable with ease

  • Whatever man deems as impossible God says it is easy for you

3. EXAMPLES OF PEOPLE OF VISION

There were men in the Bible and in our contemporary world who as a consequence of vision they soured to greater heights in life. 

 

i. Father Abraham

God told Abraham that He would give the land He saw to his descendants. God fulfilled His promise and gave the land of Canaan to the children of Israel, the descendants of Abraham because he (Abraham) saw it.

 

ii. The Apostle Paul  

When He encountered the Resurrected Savior – he was transformed from spiritual terrorist to a spiritual revivalist!

 

iii. King David

David was not only a visionary, but he was also addicted to Divine Guidance one example of this is found in -see 1 Samuel 30:8
