If we don’t treat the Bible as a book that is historically verified and Inspired, and if we don’t treat our Faith as something that is “Evidence-Based”, we cannot effectively share the Truth about God within and within the community of Faith. Many people think Christians are closed-minded. When they hear believers say, for in- stance, “Jesus is the only way to God,” they conclude that Christians are not open to truth or are against learning. But think about this. An atheist’s claims that there is no God, is just as closed-minded. And the claim that there are many ways to God has the same degree of closed-mindedness. Each viewpoint is a declaration that something is true and that, by definition, what contradicts or opposes it is false. The Mars Hill will help you articulate the questions about origin, meaning, morality and destiny, questions that have been grappled with by all the great minds over the century because these are fundamental question about life!
