Pastors Appreciation

Pastors or Overseers who lead and feed the flock are tasked with looking out for and giving an account for their souls (Hebrews 13:17). As part of the 5-fold ministry office, they are further instructed equip the saints for the work of the ministry (Ephesians 4:11-12). This is no easy feat given that it takes finances to do this work. Some Pastors do not receive a salary and have to rely on outside sources to make ends meet and others do but it doesn’t always cover all their needs.

1 Timothy 5:17 [NIV] says “Elders who do their work well should be respected and paid well, especially those who work hard at both preaching and teaching.”

As a church, we would be remiss if we did not give you an opportunity to sow a financial seed towards honouring our Pastors. Not only does it bless them but it enables you to share in their work with them.
